Pupils at Woodmill High School will take part in a variety of experiences across eight sessions, including a private tour of Dunfermline Crematorium.
On Monday, 15th December 2025, ITV Borders featured The D Word on their news programme. They filmed Independent Celebrant, Aileen Palmer with a group of S6 Pupils from Castle Douglas High School during a D Word session. This footage was followed by an interview with Interfaith Celebrant and founder of The D Word, Gillian Robertson. The clip is just under 6 minutes long and gives an excellent summary of the value of The D Word being delivered to High School Pupils.
